It’s race week at Bolts & Bytes! If it can drive, roll, scoot, fly, float or crawl, we’re going to race it!
Building for speed poses some fun engineering challenges. Does lightweight always mean fastest? How can we reduce friction to have the fastest performance? Do bigger wheels make a difference? What are some alternate forms of energy that make a vehicle go?
We’ll focus on how to build for speed and use rapid prototyping techniques so we can learn from our successes and engineer the best racers possible.
So get ready to build your own racers and compete against fellow campers.
