It’s all-systems-go for this cardboard construction class!
We’re using boring old cardboard to build extraordinary space-themed projects that not only look cool but are fun to play with too! Junior astronauts learn useful construction techniques, mechanical engineering basics, decorating skills and proper tool use — oh yeah, and we just have a great time making amazing stuff out of this super-ordinary and readily available material!
Why cardboard? We love teaching students how to create with cardboard because it is a readily available material (thank you Amazon!) that is both strong and easy to work with. The construction techniques that we learn in cardboard allow students to continue building confidently at home, no matter what material they use!
