In Gizmos & Gadgets, we immerse ourselves in mechanical madness!! We ask how and why things work the way they do, then use that knowledge to make our own bizarre creations!
Students investigate simple machines, create mechanical movements and learn how to construct things that move (without falling apart!). Get ready — this is literally a crash course where creativity meets mechanical engineering!
What the heck is MakerLab?
MakerLab is our new series of short-run classes, each focused on a fun theme or maker skill. It’s like a Bolts & Bytes snack break!
Double Length Sessions = Double the Fun!
Students in our special Double Length Sessions get extra time to explore, play and build! We will have a lunch break during their weekly classes, so please plan on packing a lunch for your student!
